The most amazing part of my job is watching moments of transformation. People share their most personal stories in my office, and because of that, I witness their vulnerability and truest selves. It's not enough for me to simply listen - I aim to really hear their experiences and the meaning placed on these defining moments. Being able to provide compassion and a sense of connection is the reason why this work is so meaningful to me. I strive to create space for all my clients to be authentically themselves, and I'm committed to showing up genuinely myself to each and every one of my sessions.
When starting Evolve Psychology, I wanted to establish a place where vulnerability and honesty were honored and where compassion and curiosity were keys to the therapeutic process. Those are the values this practice has been built on, and that's what you can expect from your time here.
I offer psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
Seeking therapy services can often be a vulnerable experience. At Evolve Psychology, I try to minimize these feelings of discomfort by creating a comfortable and reassuring environment for my clients and their families. With that in mind, I aim to provide an open space for individuals to identify and process stressors that affect their quality of life.
Growth can be assessed in several ways, depending on the individual. My modality of treatment includes a client-centered and strengths-based approach that allows clients to feel like they are in the driver’s seat of their treatment. This allows the possibility of each client achieving an increased sense of self and independence while also receiving clinical treatment from a licensed psychotherapist.
I specialize in trauma-focused work for adults, teens, and children. Specifically, I provide Cognitive Processing Therapy in order to reduce symptoms related to trauma. Trauma work can be specifically vulnerable. I strive to aid clients in identifying their needs within session, as well as the most effective treatment modality for them.
I provide psychotherapy treatment for children, teens, and adults.
I dedicate myself to helping people understand themselves and the various ways that understanding the different aspects of their personality can impact their lives. I believe that every single person has the ability to take charge of and change their lives, but they often do not know where to start.
My goal is to understand someone’s values, their strengths and weaknesses, and consequently, help them recognize their way forward. Furthermore, I strive to create a nurturing environment where people feel seen, heard, and accepted; where they can be honest without feeling judged, and where true healing can take place.
I offer psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.

I aim to foster self-acceptance and help my patients develop a healthier view of themselves. My practice includes assisting with anxiety, depression, self-image issues, and grief, as well as guiding children and teens in developing their emotional, cognitive, and social skills.
My clinical experience of dealing with chronic pain, eating disorders, and the complexities of adolescence has shaped my approach. I understand how crucial it is to practice kindness towards our bodies, and ourselves and my goal is to help you build confidence through self-knowledge. Together, we’ll take gradual steps toward increased self-awareness and a sense of peace with your choices.
I also have experience as an educational psychologist and University professor in the Psychology program at UCSal in Brazil, where I conducted research on online safety practices for children and adolescents.
I offer psychotherapy for Brazilians living in Michigan, recognizing the unique challenges that come with that experience.

I have worked for 10+ years in child welfare and am dedicated to the mental and emotional well-being of others.
I enjoy treating individuals (adolescents, teens, and adults) suffering from symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger, aggression, mood dysregulation, trauma, behavioral difficulties, and other mental health concerns, such as work/life balance. Treatment is provided to individuals and their families, who seek improvement in their daily functioning, including work, school, relationships, family dynamics, and overall outlook. People are the experts on themselves and are encouraged to actively participate in the therapeutic process, which may include the exploration and practice of positive, appropriate, and adaptive coping skills.
I provide treatment in the form of Interpersonal Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as providing therapeutic support and guidance. I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, as a way to assist and support patients who no longer wish to take medication to treat their difficulties with falling asleep, staying asleep, and early morning awakenings.
All of the treatment that I provide is tailored to the patient's needs, is solution focused, and is generally patient led, as it is important for people to feel validated, supported, and comforted.
I offer children, adolescents and adults a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment to explore each person’s individual needs that bring them to therapy.

I approach the therapist-client relationship as a partnership based on mutual respect and trust.
I am intensively trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. I utilize these approaches to empower clients with lasting skills to improve their overall mental health.
I am confident that as a team, we can work together to help you improve your well-being and successfully make the changes you desire to live a more fulfilling, intentional and peaceful life.
I offer individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults as well as group DBT skills training.
